Browser-based processing
Every tool processes your input in your browser. Text you paste, files you open and data you generate are handled locally on your device and are never sent to QADevBench servers.
API Workbench requests
The API Workbench is the one tool that sends data over the network, because that is its purpose. When you click Send, your browser sends the request you built, including its URL, headers, any authentication credentials and the body, directly to the server you are testing. It does not pass through QADevBench, and we cannot see it. The server you target receives that request under its own privacy policy. Secrets you enter are kept in memory only, are never saved, and are cleared when you reload or close the page.
Content you preview
If Markdown or HTML you preview references remote images or other resources, your browser loads them from those third-party hosts, just as it would for any web page.
No account required
QADevBench has no sign-up, no login and no user profiles. We do not ask for your email address to use a tool.
Tool inputs
We do not store, log or transmit the contents you enter into any tool.
Fonts, scripts and third parties
All fonts, scripts and styles are served from our own domain. We do not load third-party trackers, social widgets or externally hosted fonts.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical request data, such as your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and it is not used to identify you.
Local storage
We store your theme preference (light, dark or system) in your browser's local storage. We do not store tool inputs or generated data there. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Cookies and analytics
QADevBench does not currently set cookies or run analytics. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in future, they will measure only aggregate usage such as page views, will never collect tool input content, and will be listed here first.
Advertising
QADevBench does not currently show ads. If we enable display advertising, we will update this page with the provider's disclosures before ads go live, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
